Indian investors who missed global investment opportunities due to lack of awareness will now be able to get advise from renowned investment experts.

MUMBAI: Indian investors who missed global investment opportunities due to lack of awareness will now be able to get advise from renowned investment experts.

ING Investment Management India (ING IM) is hosting Asia's first ever ING Global Investment Marathon in Mumbai on June 13-14. It will bring together investment experts from across the world to unveil a range of global investment strategies for the Indian investor.

"The global investment marathon is designed to provide information to Indian investors on global opportunities," ING Investment Management India's Managing Director and CEO, Vineet Vohra, told reporters here today.
"Indian investors lag behind in global investment opportunities because there hasn't been awareness and information of these markets," Vohra said.

The marathon will be attended by over 300 institutional investors, retail investors, banking personnel, HNIs, SMEs and policy-makers.

The penalists include prominent personalities such as M Damodaran, former SEBI Chief, A P Kurian, Chairman of AMFI, Krishnan Sitaraman, Crisil, Head Research, Shailesh Haribhakti, Chairman of Haribhakti Group and Cyril Shroff, Managing Partner of Amarchand & Mangaldas.
