BENGALURU: An Infosys employee who has been working out of the Bangalore-based company’s Brussels facilities for the last four years, has gone missing since Tuesday’s terror attacks in the Belgian capital.

The missing employee has been identified as Raghavendran Ganesh, according to tweets sent out by External Affairs minister Sushma Swaraj.

“We are doing our best to locate Raghavendran Ganesh,” she tweeted, before sharing a photo identifying Ganesh. Swaraj added in another tweet that she had spoken to Ganesh’s mother and that the authorities “will spare no effort to locate her son in Brussels.”

Swaraj also said that the Indian Embassy in Brussels had launched a hunt to locate Ganesh.

Infosys declined to share details of the missing employee, but confirmed that one employee had gone missing from its Brussels office.

“Following the attacks in Brussels, Infosys reached out to all its employees in the city to ascertain their whereabouts and safety. With the exception of one employee who we are trying to reach, we have been able to connect with all other employees,” an Infosys spokeswoman said in a statement to ET.
