Infosys co-founder Nandan Nilekani a role model for students: Governor Syed Ahmed

RANCHI: Infosys co-founder Nandan Nilekani is truly a role model for the youth, said Jharkhand Governor Syed Ahmed today.

"He is truly a role model for the youth. I hope that many of you (students), graduating today, shall make an effort to emulate him both in inculcating a spirit and dedication towards entrepreneurship coupled with a vast social commitment," Ahmed said here.

Addressing at the XXIII Convocation of the Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, he said Nilekani epitomizes the excellence in professional capabilities and dedication of Indians.

Nilekani was the Chief Guest at the convocation ceremony.

Calling upon the students to have a holistic outlook and approach, the governor said, "Only when one sees the bigger picture can one find appropriate solutions for addressing the challenges that the society is facing (now)."

"My best wishes go with you (students). May you never stop the learning process, academic as well as non-academic and most of all, always have the right attitude," the governor concluded.
