India's border under UPA government not safe: M M Joshi, BJP leader

BJP leader M M Joshi today alleged that neither the country's borders were safe nor the internal situation any better under UPA govt's rule.

NEW DELHI: BJP leader M M Joshi today alleged that neither the country's borders were safe nor the internal situation any better under UPA government's rule.

"Our borders are not safe and the internal conditions are not good. The morale of Maoists terrorists, criminals and looters is high," he charged addressing a rally here.

Joshi claimed the country had been progressing as a world power under Atal Bihari Vajpayee's rule but the "flawed" policies of the Congress government had brought it on the backfoot.

"The flawed policies of Manmohan government have led to the downslide in the economy of the country. Devaluation of Indian Rupee has become faster", he said.

The BJP leader also accused the government of allowing FDI to benefit foreign companies when it should have been assessing the social and economic conditions of India.

Delhi BJP President Vijender Gupta alleged the condition was equally bad in the national capital and people felt unsafe under the Congress rule.
