Indian to donate 50 tonnes of galvanised sheets to Nepal
India will donate 50 tonnes of GC sheets to Nepal for rehabilitation and reconstruction works of the country which was struck by the devastating earthquake.

The GC Sheets costing 14.5 million Nepalese rupees (over Rs 2 million) have been manufactured by Steel Authority of India Limited, a statement by the Indian Embassy here said.
Galvanised corrugated sheets of steel are used for building temporary shelters.
These are priority goods for the earthquake affected areas in Nepal especially in view of the ongoing monsoon season, the statement said.
The GC sheets would be used for providing temporary shelters to a large number of affected families in Nepal.
Ambassador of India to Nepal Ranjit Rae handed over the documents related to import of Corrugated Sheets of Steel to the Nepal Home Secretary at Singha Durbar secretariat.
