A 19-year-old Indian student was stabbed to death in a fight between two groups here, police said on Monday

TORONTO: A 19-year-old Indian student was stabbed to death in a fight between two groups here, police said on Monday
The deceased, Amrinder Singh Atwal, a student of Bramlea senior secondary school was stabbed during an altercation after a cultural party last night and succumbed to his injuries in a hospital.
Several people were also injured in the fight, police said.
Witnesses are currently being interrogated by police.
The murder weapon has not yet been recovered, police said adding it believed the altercation erupted as result of a pre-existing dispute between several individuals.
No suspect descriptions are available at this time, police said.
