India to hold Indian Technical & Economic Cooperation celebration in Egypt
ITEC is a programme of cooperation and partnership under which India has been sharing its technical expertise with friendly developing countries since 1964.

The 51st celebration to be held on 21 September will be attended by a large number of Egyptians including military officials, civil servants, technocrats, scholars, scientists who have been trained in India under the Indian Technical & Economic Cooperation ( ITEC) programme, an embassy statement said.
ITEC is a programme of cooperation and partnership under which India has been sharing its technical expertise with friendly developing countries since 1964.
It is an important component of India's economic relations with Egypt. India shares its technical expertise with Egypt under this programme.
ITEC has hosted around more than 500 Egyptian officials and scholars so far for various short-term training courses in India.
The programme offers training in over 280 courses in prestigious educational, technical and vocational institutes in India in a variety of fields ranging from information technology to management, vocational training, banking, finance, English language among others.
