India rejects Pakistan's 'duplicitous behaviour' over Kashmir
India today rejected Pakistan's efforts to rake up bilateral issues like the Kashmir dispute under the aegis of the United Nations.

Reacting sharply to statements from Pakistan's Foreign Office that Kashmir was an integral part of UN resolutions, official sources said Islamabad should avoid such "duplicitous behaviour".
The sources said Pakistan should not make any reference to the UN as both sides are discussing the Kashmir issue as part of their composite dialogue.
Pakistan should "create conditions conducive for the resumption of the composite dialogue", they said.
In a statement issued yesterday, Pakistan's Foreign Office had expressed "disappointment" at External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid's remarks that questions should not be raised about the status of Jammu and Kashmir as an integral part of India.
The statement further described the Kashmir dispute as the "core issue that remains unresolved between the two countries".
