India, Pakistan should take lessons from Iran nuclear deal: National Conference
SRINAGAR: National Conference today called upon India and Pakistan to take lessons from the deal between Iran and six major world powers, asking them to emulate the spirit of mutual cooperation and reconciliation and engage in a sustained dialogue to resolve all outstanding issues.

New Delhi and Islamabad should take lessons from the deal which has broken a political and diplomatic status-quo between Iran and the US, NC chief spokesperson Syed Aga Ruhullah Mehdi said here.

"Closer to home, both India and Pakistan should emulate the spirit of mutual cooperation and reconciliation demonstrated by Iran and the US and should engage in a sustained dialogue to resolve all outstanding issues including Kashmir," he said.

"If peace and dialogue is given a chance, even 35 years old hostility can reach an agreement based on mutual respect. India and Pakistan should learn from this deal and work on resolving the Kashmir Issue by peaceful means and a sustained dialogue process," he said.
