BSF authorities will stage protest with Pakistan Rangers over heavy shelling and firing on border posts and civilian areas since October 14.

India, Pakistan border guards hold flag meeting amid repeated ceasefire violations
JAMMU: Amid repeated ceasefire violations along the international border, the border guards of India and Pakistan today held a flag meeting at a forward border outpost in Jammu sector.

"The flag meeting begun today around 11.30 AM and it is going on with Pak counterparts at forward BoP," a senior BSF officer said.

In the meeting, BSF authorities will stage protest with Pakistan Rangers over heavy shelling and firing on border posts and civilian areas since October 14.

BSF authorities will also raise the issue of infiltration from across the border, besides that of snipper firing, the officer said.

The meeting could not take place on October 18 and 20 as Pak troops did not turn up for it.
