India, Pak should be able to agree on peace treaty: PM

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Monday said India and Pakistan should be able to agree on a treaty of peace, security and friendship.


NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Monday said India and Pakistan should be able to agree on a treaty of peace, security and friendship.

"I earnestly hope that relations between our two countries become so friendly that we can generate an atmosphere of trust between each other and that the two nations are able to agree on a treaty of peace, security and friendship," Singh said.

The Prime Minister was addressing the 79th Annual General Meeting of industry chamber FICCI.
