India keen to set up joint ventures with Belarus

India is interested in setting up Belarusian-Indian joint ventures in the chemical industry, automobile industry, information technology (IT) and tyre production, Indian Ambassador to Belarus Rajendra Kumar Tyagi told a press conference here.

MINSK: India is interested in setting up Belarusian-Indian joint ventures in the chemical industry, automobile industry, information technology (IT) and tyre production, Indian Ambassador to Belarus Rajendra Kumar Tyagi told a press conference here.
"Indian companies are greatly interested in setting up joint ventures with Belarusian partners," the ambassador said, pointing to an agreement to open an educational centre for IT professionals in the High-Tech Park here by a major Indian company as a positive example of the bilateral cooperation.
He also said that several important agreements were reached when Belarus representatives took part in an IT expo in India recently. The Belarusian professionals met with representatives of the largest Indian companies.
"Now we just have to make the agreements come true," said the ambassador.
