India hopes momentum in Indo-US ties will continue

THIMPU: India on Wednesday said the momentum in "strategic and multi-dimensional" relations with the United States would continue under the Barrack Obama administration.

"We welcome the new President. Relation between India and USA is expanding in strategic, multi-dimensional (matters) and I do hope that the same momentum will continue", External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee told reporters here.

"We value the relation between the two great democracies," he said.
