India Gate violence: Nine people arrested

NEW DELHI: Nine people were arrested on charges of attempt to murder and rioting in connection with Sunday's violence at India Gate, police said today.

They were arrested here yesterday and produced before a local court which released them on bail.

They have been charged with attempt to murder, rioting and destruction of public property among other sections of IPC, police said.
