India files papers seeking Q's extradition

The ambassador said there should be reciprocity between the two countries.

Buenos Aires: India has filed the documents seeking extradition of Italian businessman, Ottavio Quattrocchi with the Argentine government.
Indian ambassador to Aargentina Parmathesh Rath, after filing the papers with the foreign ministry of the Latin American country, said it was now for the Aargentine government to see whether the papers were in order to carry forward the process of extradition.
The ambassador said there should be reciprocity between the two countries.
Rath visited the foreign office taking the documents brought by CBI director of prosecution SK Sharma and
superintendent of police Keshav Mishra, who arrived late Thursday.
The 69-year-old Italian businessman was detained in this country on February 6 on the basis of an Interpol alert.

Quattrochhi was released on bail on February 23 but his passport has been impounded and has been prohibited from leaving the country.
