India, Australia match abandoned
The first match of tri-series between India and Australia on Sunday was called off due to rain and both the teams get two points each.

BRISBANE: The first match of cricket tri-series between India and Australia on Sunday was called off due to rain and both the teams get two points each.
The match was called off after 7.2 overs of Australia innings, when the team was 51 for 3 chasing a revised target of 141 runs in 26 overs.
Earlier India were all out for 194 in 45 overs after opting to bat first in the rain-truncated first ODI of the tri-series.
In unfortunate end to what was shaping up to be a cracker, Brett Lee was the star of the day with his seventh five-wicket haul in ODIs.
But three wickets between the annoying showers had India sniffing a win, when the match finally called off.
India will take on Sri Lanka, the third team of the series on Tuesday.
