India and US have made progress in every area: PM

BALI: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and US President Barack Obama met for the first time in over a year in this Indonesian island on Friday. He said India and US have made progress in every area, including civil nuclear cooperation, since President Obama's visit to New Delhi in November last year.

The meeting, at the grand Hyatt Hotel where Obama is staying, took place on the sidelines of the East Asia and ASEAN summits. After Obama, the prime minister goes to meet Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen.

Prime Minister is in Indonesia to attend the East Asia and ASEAN summits.
