India against corruption: Protest outside Sibal's residence

NEW DELHI: A group of people staged a protest outside HRD Minister Kapil Sibal's residence here this morning seeking his support for the Jan Lokpal Bill.

The protest outside Sibal's residence came following Anna Hazare's call to stage demonstrations outside the residences of ministers and MPs to ask them their stand on the Lokpal bill.

"We have come here to request Sibal to support the Jan Lokpal Bill. This is a good bill and everybody should support it," a protester outside Sibal's Teen Murti residence said.

Last evening also several people had gathered outside the residence of Sibal and shouted slogans against him. They left before the police could come to the spot.
