India against corruption: Gandhi Peace Foundation to fast for Anna Hazare's cause

KOLKATA: The West Bengal Gandhi Peace Foundation will observe a 12-hour fast along with other civil society organisations here next Monday in solidarity with social activist Anna Hazare's fast-unto-death which entered its third day today.

"Our fast, in which nearly 50 persons will take part, will commence at 6.30 AM at the Metro Channel in the central part of the city," said the secretary of the foundation, Chandan Pal.

He said that organisations like Jaiprakash Antodaya Nidhi, National Alliance for People's Movement and West Bengal Jansangharsha Samity would also join the fast.
