Include Rewari, Narnaul in AMRUTP scheme: Rao Inderjit Singh

REWARI: Union Minister of State for Defence Rao Inderjit Singh today wrote to the Haryana Chief Minister, urging him to include both Rewari and Narnaul cities under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation Project ( AMRUTP) for the accelerated development of the two cities.

While stating that the Haryana government was to select about 19 cities of the state for inclusion into this centrally sponsored project, Rao asserted that both Rewari and Narnaul had rich historical heritage.

"And these cities need holistic development and expansion," he said here.

He further said if Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar included them into the above list of selected cities of the state, he would make efforts to see that the union government adopted them in the above project.
