In LS, BJP MP targets AAP govt over Delhi excise policy

BJP MP Ramesh Bidhuri raked up in the Lok Sabha the brewing controversy over the new excise policy of Delhi's Arvind Kejriwal government and targeted the CM and his deputy Manish Sisodia over it.

BJP members raising the issue in Parliament coincides with the AAP regime in Delhi abruptly announcing its decision to return to the old policy, incidentally within days of LG calling for a CBI probe into the new liquor distribution policy.

The LS also witnessed a heated exchange between a minister and the opposition over a question whether the government would waive off loans advanced under the Kisan Credit Card schemes.
