Rahul Gandhi stresses the need for fair competition, saying the government should not be aligned with one business house.
In a video message, after the government and the BJP slammed Gandhi for his response on Thursday to Starlink CEO Elon Musk's allegation about the delay in approvals for his company's launch in India, the leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha said, "I am not anti-business, I am anti-monopoly. And today the line that the Indian business is standing in is completely monopolised. We don't want an environment where the government is aligned completely with one business, We want a government to step back and let all businesses play."

Gandhi further said, "The large monopolies have a role, small and medium businesses have a role, but what we need is a fair playing field. And the Congress Party and I are committed to help develop that... I have never been anti-business. I am anti-monopoly, anti-creating oligopolies and I am anti-domination of business by one or two or three or five people."
