"The material will be finalised as per the most important need of the affected people which will provide immediate help to them & boost their confidence to fight this natural calamity," Iffco said in a statement.
Earlier Iffco provided relief to Kashmir flood affected people and in Uttarakhand.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also announced an immediate release of Rs 1,000 crore for relief and rehabilitation works in Tamil Nadu. This will be in addition to Rs 940 crore which was released earlier by the Centre.
Heavy rains continued to lash coastal Cuddalore district, one of the worst affected areas ever since North-East monsoon fury started early last month, and Villupuram and Kanyakumari districts and Puducherry as the death toll in the state mounted to 269.
All modes of transport -- air, road and rail services -- have been hit due to the unprecedented deluge, leaving thousands of passengers stranded at the airport and various rail terminals.
Adding to the worry of the citizens and administration, the weatherman has forecast more rainfall under the influence of a trough of low pressure and upper air circulation over the southwest Bay of Bengal and Sri Lankan coast.
