Arvind Kejriwal, the leader of the AAP and the Chief Minister of Delhi, pledged on Tuesday that if elected in the Gujarat elections, he will deliver high-quality education.

The AAP leader, who was in Kutch for a day, made a commitment to the locals here that he will expand the number of public schools.

He pledged that private school records would be reviewed, and if profits were discovered, he would ask the school administration to give parents their money back.

He added that this would greatly increase the chances for skilled teachers and recommended a ratio of one teacher to 25 to 30 children for high-quality instruction.

The Delhi Chief Minister responded, "Today is my birthday, as a birthday gift if you vote my party to power, in return, I will give Narmada waters to Kutch, "when the people of Kutch demanded drinking water from the Narmada project.
He made fun of the Gujarat government's choice to raise police officers' allowances rather than their grade pay.

Kejriwal said, "Ruling party is behaving like it has to pay a salary hike from its pockets, how can the ruling party be so stingy while paying salaries to its police or teachers."

He asked police officers to accept a raise in their allowances and promised that if the AAP gets elected in Gujarat, he would raise the grade pay of police officers.

The Gujarat Assembly elections are scheduled for December 2022.
