ICCC awards CII for support in forging tie-ups

Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) on Tuesday said it has been awarded by the Indo-Canadian Chamber of Commerce (ICCC) for extending help and support to its members in developing tie-ups in India.

NEW DELHI: Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) on Tuesday said it has been awarded by the Indo-Canadian Chamber of Commerce (ICCC) for extending help and support to its members in developing tie-ups in India.
The 'President's Award' was presented to CII at the 16th Annual Gala Awards celebration of ICCC in Toronto, a CII statement said.
The award was received by the Chamber Director Subha Rajan in the presence of CII Mentor Tarun Das.
Das is leading a delegation of Indian CEOs along with Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Kamal Nath to the second Canada-India CEO Forum in Montreal in cooperation with the Canadian Council for Chief Executives, the release said.
The ICCC is largest and leading association of Indo-Canadians dedicated to business, trade, culture and social programmes, with which CII had signed an MoU in 2004.
