NEW DELHI: Chartered accountants' apex body ICAI will hold a second workshop on the new black money law on August 26, as a part of its efforts to help its members have a better understanding about the legislation.

The workshop on 'Black Money (Undisclosed Foreign Income and Assets) and Imposition of Tax Act, 2015' is being organised for the second time by ICAI and would be held in Mumbai.

Revenue Secretary Shaktikanta Das, Central Board of Direct Taxes chairperson Anita Kapur, along with senior CBDT officials, are expected to participate in the workshop, according to the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).

"As ICAI closely works with the government as a partner in nation building, these workshops aim towards creating awareness amongst the members about this new legislation," it said in a statement today.

The first workshop was held in the national capital.
