Singla's flat mate found her dead in a pool of blood when she returned from work around 8 pm on Tuesday. The building's security guard informed police that a man in his 30s had come to see Singla that morning while she was away .
He waited for her and after Singla returned around 12.30 pm, she filled in his details in the visitor register and took him upstairs. Around 3 pm, this man came down alone and left.
