IAS academy face security threat: Govt

NEW DELHI: The elite Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration in Mussoorie faces security threat, the Lok Sabha was informed on Wednesday.

"Yes," Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions Prithviraj Chavan said in a written reply to a question whether the IAS academy faces security threat.

"Based on the security threat perception, the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie, proposed to augment the existing security arrangements for which the Government of India is in the process of deploying Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force," he said.
