I was never member of any political party, says Arunachal Pradesh Governor J P Rajkhowa
The Rajbhavan in a statement added Governor instructed all the departments and offices to maintain utmost transparency in decision making.

Interacting with mediapersons first time ever since the crisis in the frontier state intensified in November last year, Rajkhowa said, “I would like to clarify once for all. I was never member of any political party have been apolitical not linked to RSS at all. Some misinformation is also going on.”
Asserting that president’s rule in the state is a temporary measure. “I have no where mentioned about cow slaughter, even minister of state for home affairs, Kiren Rijiju has clarified in this regard. What I have mentioned about is mithun and not cow slaughter”.
He said, “Our main focus to maintaining law and order and security.We would stress on corruption free good governance.”
The Rajbhavan in a statement added Governor instructed all the departments and offices to maintain utmost transparency in decision making and execution of various works and take firm action against corruption. "Good Governance and corruption free administration must be ensured under President Rule, as expected by the people of Arunachal Pradesh. He has also directed for 100 percent attendance for effective functioning of the offices and delivery of public services."
The Governor has instructed the offices to maintain File Registers as per the Arunachal Pradesh Secretariat Manual of Office Procedure 2010 under strict supervision of responsible officers of their respective departments or offices for maintenance of proper records of office files.
