Aarushi's father Rakesh Talwar spoke to the media for the first time ever since his daughter's murder on May 16 in Noida.

NOIDA/LUCKNOW: Aarushi's father Rakesh Talwar spoke to the media for the first time ever since his daughter's murder on May 16 in Noida.
Speaking to the media, Talwar said, "I am not aware of anything related to Aarushi's murder and if I would have known I would have given details to the media. I am not involved in the murder at all. "
Prior to this statement from Aarushi's father, the parents were providing different statements to the Noida police, which brought them under the scanner.
So far the family has always been accompanied by a relative and never made an official statement in the case.
Aarushi's parents have had an unfriendly attitude towards the media and have ignored the presence of the press all along.
According to sources, Aarushi was beaten before being murdered and it clearly looked like the crime was committed by three-four people.
The police were also interrogating Aarushi���s maternal uncle S Tipnis, who, they say, could be crucial to solving the case.
