Political plunge: Rajinikanth keeps the guessing game on
Tamil superstar Rajinikanth today hit out at his detractors who used to taunt him for his Karnataka-origins.

Rajinikanth, speaking at the second day of his Fan Meet event, said, “I lived in Karnataka for 23 years and Tamil Nadu for 43 years, Although I am from Karnataka, you welcomed me, made me true Tamilian.”

The comments set tongues waging about his intentions on joining politics.

However, the superstar has so far not said anything clearly on his political intentions.

"Please don't ask political questions," he said yesterday when reporters asked him about his recent comments on entering politics.

He had said he had no desire to join politics, but if he did, he would show the door to all "money-minded" people.
