Meanwhile, Opposition created uproar in Parliament demanding response from PM Manmohan Singh on the Supreme Court quashing appointment of PJ Thomas as CVC forcing government to promise that a "suitable" statement will be made next week.
The issue was raised in both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha with the Lower House even being adjourned for 45 minutes at noon following pandemonium created by the Left and JDU.
In the Rajya Sabha, the matter was raised by Venkaiah Naidu, who was joined by his party colleagues in asking as to when the Prime Minister would be making a statement on the "shocking" development.
