Karnataka BJP chief D V Sadanada Gowda says his party is confident the JDS will transfer power as promised.

GULBARGA: Karnataka BJP chief D V Sadanada Gowda on Sunday said his party was confident that the JDS would transfer power as promised.

The party would refrain from taking any steps till October three, the date of the transfer of power from the JDS to the BJP.

The BJP will keep quiet over the issue till October three. If power was not handed over, it will take a decision on the very day about the next course of action.

Hitting out at the former Chief Minister and Congress leader, Dharam Singh, Sadananda said that Singh had issued unecessary statements over transfer of power, creating unecessary differences. According to the BJP state chief, several Congress leaders had also expressed their unhappiness over the satement and asked that Singh retire from politics.
