'Hurt' cops file complaint against CM Arvind Kejriwal for calling them 'thulla'
Two Delhi Police constables and a former policeman have lodged a complaint of defamation against Kejriwal after he had called policemen "thullas".

Constable Ajay Kumar, posted at the Lajpat Nagar police station, has filed a complaint saying that he was hurt by the word used by a person of Kejriwal's stature. "Any person with a sense of honour would have been hurt by the kind of words that the chief minister has used in a public platform. I had even tried to call up the chief minister and ask him why he would use such a word but I was given an office number which no one picked up. After this I decided to call the police control room and inform them about it," Kumar said in his complaint.
In a second complaint, constable Harvinder, of the Govindpuri police station, said he had watched the interview on television and felt humiliated and wanted to demand an apology. However, officers say Harvinder had fallen ill after submitting the complaint.
A former Delhi Police officer, Kapoor Singh Sikhara, also registered a complaint at the Dabri police station on Sunday evening claiming that the comments had hurt the people serving the force. He also demanded a public apology.
Senior police officials said an NCR under IPC 500 (defamation) has been registered and its copy has been sent to senior officials.
