A new version of the Co-WIN platform will be released soon with the option to choose inoculation session site, where common people can also register themselves for vaccination. Beneficiaries will, however, not be offered the choice between the Covishield & Covaxin vaccines.
The government will require a photo ID for those above 60 years of age, and will require medical certificates for those over 45 with comorbidities. The government will soon specify the conditions included in the over-45 age group with comorbidities.
Beneficiaries will have the option to get inoculated in a state different from their home state.
