NEW DELHI: The SC judgement has clarified constitutional and institutional processes that were always in place in Delhi, former CM Sheila Dikshit said as she refused to see an AAP victory in the 535-page order.

Dikshit, who was Delhi CM from 1998 till 2013, said: “Constitutionally and institutionally every person — chief minister, lieutenant governor, ministers, chief secretary — has a role to play. Historically, they have always been followed in Delhi. I don’t know what happened when AAP came to power. The SC has merely reiterated the constitutional position that has always existed in Delhi.” D

Dikshit said: “How is this a victory for Delhi? If it impacts development, then maybe. But all AAP government has been doing is giving excuses for lack of development.”
