New Delhi: Hospitality and tourism industry bodies expressed disappointment with the Aatmanirbhar Bharat 3.0 measures announced on Thursday, saying the industry needs an entirely separate set of stimulus measures. The Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme (ECLGS) 2.0 benefits may not do much to ease the pain of the sector, they said.

The Aatmanirbhar Bharat 3.0 measures announced by the government included the launch of ECLGS 2.0 guaranteed credit for supporting the 26 stressed sectors identified by the KV Kamath committee. The government said ECLGS 2.0 was to be utilised for 100% guaranteed collateral-free additional credit at capped interest rates to the 26 stressed sectors plus the health care sector with credit outstanding of above Rs 50 crore and up to Rs 500 crore as on February 29 this year.
