Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde to blame ISI for creating IM with LeT’s help

NEW DELHI: Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde may officially blame ISI for creating IM with LeT’s help and recruiting Indian Muslim youth to deny its own role in the subversive activities.

Shinde will brief the Parliament on Monday regarding Bhatkal’s arrest. Shinde may also inform the House that Bhatkal was involved in the February serial blasts in Hyderabad.

Shinde is upset with facts being leaked that IB caught Bhatkal from inside Nepal’s territory as the government fears exposure of Nepal’s role could cost it future co-operation on counter-terror matters.

Hence, Shinde could assert in the Parliament that Bhatkal was apprehended “inside Indian territory” in Raxaul on the Indo-Nepal border by the Bihar Police in conjunction with the NIA. There could be no reference to IB in the statement.
