Home Minister Amit Shah is lying, I have been placed under house arrest, claims Farooq Abdullah

Talking about ​​​the government's decision on Article 370, Abdullah said that the decision is unconstitutional.

"DSP has been placed outside my house. We have been placed in the House Arrest," he said.
Reacting to Home Minister Amit Shah's statement that the government has not detained Farooq Abdullah, the National Conference leader today clarified that the leaders, including him, have been placed in the House Arrest.

"Home Minister is lying, I am not sitting in my house out of my freewill," Abdullah was quoted as saying by TimesNow.

"I am not allowed to come out of my House. DSP has been placed outside my house. We have been placed under House Arrest," he said.


Talking about the government's decision on Article 370, Abdullah said that the decision is unconstitutional.

"We don't want to get separated from the country. But we want honour, give us dignity," he added.

He was responding to Amit Shah's statement in the Parliament that Abdullah has been not been detained or arrested by the government.

A question was raised by an MP in Lok Sabha that Farooq Abdullah was absent from the House and the Home Minister should clarified about his absence.
