REWARI: Unidentified miscreants tore off some hoardings and posters put up in connection with the ex-servicemen's rally being organised here by BJP on Sunday, which Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to address.

Agitated by the act, BJP activists led by their district party president, Satish Khola, met SP Pankaj Nain here today and lodged a strong protest in this regard. Modi is also the BJP's election campaign panel chief.

Police have registered a case against unidentified persons in the matter. The district police chief, meanwhile, assured the BJP workers that those behind the act would not be spared.
