Hitler’ Modi, ‘Mussolini’ Mulayam Singh Yadav are hand in glove: Beni Prasad Verma

BAHRAICH: Comparing BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi to Hitler and Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav to Mussolini , Union steel minister Beni Prasad Verma on Sunday alleged the two leaders had a tacit understanding to polarize votes .

“The reincarnations of Hitler and Mussolini have taken birth in India ,” Beni told reporters in Lucknow . “Hitler has arrived in Indian politics , while Mussolini is in Uttar Pradesh . The original two were friends , now their reincarnations are the same , only of a modern type .”

Verma saidthe recentMuzaffarnagar riots were the result of friendship between ‘Hitler’ and ‘Mussolini’ . He said the Congress would win around 50 seats in UP in the parliamentary elections and the SP would be decimated .

The steel minister staked claim to being the second Iron Man of India and the ‘real heir’ to Sardar Patel . Attacking Modi, he said the nation knew the truth of those who blew their own trumpet in the name of Patel .

The BJP flayed Beni for comparing Modi to Hitler . “Before saying so, he should have thought about Modi’s popularity and his stature ,” BJP’s chief spokesman Vijay Bahadur Pathak said .

Verma also visited Gonda to attend a programme organisedby thesteel ministry .He said the Congress was the ‘real’ well-wisher of farmers . He said Modi was living in a world of fantasy and his dream of becoming the PM would never be fulfilled.
