Hindu family flees from Pakistan, held by BSF while entering Gujarat
BHUJ: A Pakistani Hindu, his wife and their seven children were held this morning by the Border Security Force ( BSF) after they entered Gujarat by crossing the Indo-Pak border near Rapar in Kutch district.

"They were held by BSF men at the border fence near Rapar village. The man has been identified as Heera Lal, resident of Wada Jo Wadio village in Tharparkar district of Sindh (in Pakistan). The village is close to the border," said a BSF official.

Preliminary questioning revealed that Heera Lal fled the village with his family last night after a dispute with locals.

"He had some dispute with villagers and decided to flee out of fear for life. They left their house last night and entered into the Indian territory after crossing the border early this morning," the BSF official said.

"Since they have violated the law of the land, we have arrested them and started further investigation," he added.
