Corruption was main issue in the elections and the people have given their verdict that who is more corrupt, the HLP leaders said.

SHIMLA: Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh today greeted AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal on his party's spectacular victory and hoped that he would deliver and fulfil the promises made to the people of Delhi.

On Delhi Assembly election results, Singh, however, said it would have no impact in Himachal Pradesh.

Himachal Lokhit Party (HLP) president and other leaders have also hailed the victory of AAP and said Himachal would also witness similar situation in the next elections and reject both Congress and BJP.

Corruption was main issue in the elections and the people have given their verdict that who is more corrupt, the HLP leaders said.

AAP workers burst into celebrations and gathered on roads in Shimla, distributed sweets and congratulated each other.

The BJP leaders were candid in their reaction and said, "We honour the verdict of the people and the party would look into the reasons of defeat."
