WASHINGTON: She lost the race for the Democratic Party���s Presidential nomination and she did not make the cut for the vice-presidential ticket under Barack Obama, but Hillary Clinton is back in the limelight as frontrunner for the post of secretary of state.

The American political landscape and diplomatic corps was electrified on Thursday with news that Presidentelect Barack Obama was considering Hillary Clinton for the crucial post.

The Obama camp did not officially confirm the news, but Clinton flew to Chicago on Thursday for possible talks.
