Heavy rains in Mumbai, train services affected

IMD has forecasted intermittent showers with heavy rains for places in the island city and suburbs for the next 24 hours.

Mumbai rains: Train services disrupted due to waterlogging
Heavy rains lashed Mumbai and adjoining suburbs like Malad, Borivali, Powai, Bhandup, Thane and Kalyan on Saturday morning, according to a Times of India report.

The rains have affected train services in the financial capital of India.

India Meteorological Department (IMD) as well as Skymet Weather have forecasted intermittent showers with heavy rains for places in the island city and suburbs for the next 24 hours.



Due to waterlogging, train services have been stopped between Badlapur and Kalyan Railway Station as a precautionary measure, added ToI.
