Heavy rain lashes in Puducherry, one person electrocuted

PUDUCHERRY: A fifty year old daily wage earner Muthu was electrocuted in neighbouring Nellithope after he came in contact with a overhead wire which got snapped under the impact of heavy rains.

Heavy rains lashed Puducherry causing inundation of water in most of the areas.

A large number of people held a demonstration alleging that there was no proper maintenance of the electrical installations.
