Health condition of former Assam CM, Tarun Gogoi improved on Friday: Himanta Biswa Sarma
Sarma said that on Friday Director of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi, Dr Ranjit Guleria and the doctors looking after Gogoi in Gauhati Medical College Hospital (GMCH) held a video conferencing.

Sarma said, “Doctors from AIIMS expressed satisfaction on the line of treatment and suggested some measures. AIIMS is sending a doctor to GMCH."
Sarma said , “ On Thursday Gogoi’s oxyen saturation was 92 after he was administered six litres of oxygen, on Friday it has increased to 94 with three litres of oxygen.”
Gogoi was admitted to GMCH when he declared that he was suffering from COVID-19 on August 26. He recovered and was released. On Thursday the Octogenarian Congress leader was rushed to GMCH and admitted in ICU.
