HC orders MP Public Service Commission to re-conduct examination for Pallavi Shukla of over wrong assessment
INDORE: Madhya Pradesh High Court has directed the MP Public Service Commission to re-conduct the 'mains' examination of a woman candidate within two months'

The order was passed yesterday, petitioner's lawyer Raghvendra Singh Raghuwanshi said.

Pallavi Shukla, the petitioner, had failed the mains examination only by two marks.

She sought a copy of her answer-sheet under the right to information, and found that one of the answers, which carried two marks, had been assessed wrongly.

The question was 'which of the following is a valid (Internet) domain name extension', with options being '.net, .com .gov and all of the above'.

Shukla had ticked 'all of the above', which was assessed as wrong.

A committee of experts, appointed by the court earlier in another, similar case, held that her answer was correct.

The court therefore directed the MPPSC to conduct a re-examination specially for the petitioner.
