However, sources at the West Bengal CEO's office said her EF has already been submitted. Her name is there in the 'marked' or 'flagged' category, which includes people in public service, sports, judiciary, art and culture. People in this category can submit their EFs during the hearing period. Thursday was the last day for filling the enumeration forms and for the digitisation process of SIR.
"Bengalis fought for the country during the freedom movement... Will we have to prove that they are citizens of the country," she asked. She also rekindled Bengali asmita and urged migrants to come back to the state. "Migrants who have come back have been included in the Karmasree scheme."
