Have to fight against terror alone: General Bipin Rawat

NEW DELHI: Indian Army chief General Bipin Rawat has asserted that nations have to fight the battle against terror on their own before they seek international support and that it is important to put checks and curbs on the Internet and social media to counter terror. “I understand that in a democratic country people might have issues when we put curbs in place. But it is important to restrict the use of social media to tackle terrorism,” he said in his address on Day 2 of the Raisina Dialogue.
